We are a small sustainably run family farm raising 100% grass-fed beef and lamb in the scenic bluff country of southeastern Minnesota.


We raise our beef and lamb on a 100% grass diet the way nature intended.  Our animals graze certified organic pastures and are free of antibiotics and hormones.    Being ruminants, cattle and sheep have the unique ability to convert grass into healthy high quality protein.  Because our animals are fed only grasses, our grass finished meat contains less saturated fat than grain fed meat, though the fats that are present in grass fed meat are actually much healthier than grain fed meats.  Compared to grain fed meat, grass-fed meat has higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) and beta-carotene and is lower in saturated fat, cholesterol, and calories.  For more information on the many benefits of grass fed meats, visit www.eatwild.com.
